Overview of the items and terms related to the Connect Cards within your Text In Church Account

Connect Card:

A dynamic form is used to collect contact information. The information submitted on a Connect Card is automatically recorded on the individual’s People Record. This includes the First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email. You can map additional information to your custom fields by using the Smart Save option and selecting a custom field to save this.

  • Custom Confirmation Page: A custom video or webpage that can be displayed automatically when a person submits a completed Connect Card

Connect Widget:

A dynamic tool used to connect your website to your Connect Card to better help your community reach your church. You can also set up a custom landing page using our landing page widget, which will allow you to view your Connect Card on full screen!

  • Sticky Banner: A widget that can be installed on your website that would display a banner across the top of the page. When website visitors click the banner, the Connect Card automatically displays and can be filled out.

  • Sticky Button: A widget that can be installed on your website that would display a button on either the bottom left or right of the page. When website visitors click the button, the Connect Card automatically displays and can be filled out. You can also select the social proof check box to show the number of people who have recently clicked it!

  • Chat Bubble: A widget that can be installed on your website that would display as a floating bubble in the right hand corner of the page. When website visitors click the bubble, the Connect Card automatically displays and can be filled out.

  • Button Click: A widget that can be installed on your website that would display as an individual button on the page. When website visitors click the button, the Connect Card automatically displays and can be filled out.

  • Timed Pop-up: A widget that can be installed on your website that would automatically display a pop-up after a set amount of time, The Timed Pop-up also has the ability to show a countdown to a specific date or a weekly timer for specific events like services as well as you can add a video URL to this pop up as well to play when it appears. When website visitors click the pop-up, the Connect Card automatically displays and can be filled out.

Connect Card Links:

Direct web addresses to the specific or Connect Card for an individual Group. Links can be copied and shared outside of Text In Church to allow people to complete these forms. Learn how to access your links here!

QR Code:

A barcode that can be scanned by a person’s cell phone camera to automatically open a Connect Card. Learn how to access your QR Codes here!

Connect Card Submission View:

You can view the information that contacts submit when they fill out a Connect Card in the People Section by navigating to their Record and clicking the Connect Cards button, thenthe View button to read their Connect Card submissions.

You can also click the “View All Responses For This Card” button to view the full report for this Connect Card!
