What is a Ringless Voicemail?

Ringless voicemail, also called a voicemail drop, is a method in which a pre-recorded audio message is placed in a voicemail inbox without the associated telephone ringing first. πŸ“©

Does Text In Church have a Ringless Voicemail Feature?

At a glance these seem like a handy communication tool, however, this practice is commonly associated with spamming and debt collection services 😬 Because of this, Text In Church does not offer Ringless Voicemail Drops. We want to provide tools for your church to communicate both personally and effectively, so that your people feel Known, Noticed, and Loved. πŸ’™

What can we do instead?

This guide aims to help you explore alternative methods like Voice Messages and Pages, steering away from Ringless Voicemail Drops. This shift not only enhances engagement but also addresses the limitations of Ringless Voicemail Drops. πŸ™Œ

Voice Messages: A text message that contains an attachment file of an audio recording.

Pages: A link to a custom webpage that contains video content. You can record a video directly inside Text In Church, upload content, or embed content from YouTube and Vimeo. The link to a Page can be included in text messages and emails.

1. πŸ–ŒοΈPersonalization:

  • Ringless Voicemail Drops Issue: They lack the personal touch and often feel generic.

  • Solution: Voice Messages and Pages allow you to convey warmth, sincerity, and a personal touch, fostering a deeper connection.
