Welcome to the Account Overview page, a handy tab for managing your account settings and details! Let's take a closer look at the tools available on this page:

1. Account ID and Phone Numbers: You can easily find your Account ID and Text In Church Phone Numbers here.

2. Church Details: View and edit your Church Name, Time Zone, Call Forwarding, or After Hours Auto Reply. Simply click the pencil icon in the top right corner to make changes.

3. Account Usage: Get insights into your account usage, including the number of messages you've used and the date when your usage counter will reset. Please note that unused messages do not carry over to the next month. However, incoming messages are always free, and Text In Church only counts outgoing messages toward your allotment.

4. Managing Account Users: You have the ability to add and manage account users on this page.

Resetting Message Count:

To check when your message count will reset:

  1. Navigate to the Settings.

  2. In the Account Overview tab, you can see how many messages you've used so far and your counter reset date.

The counters reset at midnight UTC time for all accounts on your invoice date or as listed under the Account Overview tab.

Setting Office Hours:

Text In Church offers the convenient option of setting office hours. This enables you to create an auto-reply that responds to text messages received after hours, informing the sender when they can expect a reply.

To set up office hours:

  1. Sign in to the website version of Text In Church and click on Settings.

  2. In the top right corner of the Account Overview tab, click the gray pencil icon.

  3. Enable the auto-reply by toggling the switch, specify the hours for the auto-reply, and customize your response message.

  4. Don't forget to hit the blue "Save Details" button when you're done!

Time Zone:

Have you ever experienced messages going out at the wrong time? It can be quite frustrating, but the good news is that it's usually an easy fix. To ensure your messages go out at the right time, double-check that you've selected the correct time zone during account setup.

To change your time zone:

  1. Click on Settings in the main menu.

  2. Then click the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Here's a handy map to help you determine which area corresponds to your chosen time zone.

Refer a Friend:

When you refer Text in Church to a friend, it's a win-win situation! Your friends receive 500 FREE Messages added to their account, and you get 250 FREE Messages every time a friend becomes a member. Plus, if you refer 5 churches, you receive an additional 500 FREE Messages!

To refer a friend, you'll need your special sign-up link. You can find this link by going to Settings and selecting "Refer a Friend" from the sub-menu. On that page, simply click the "Copy" button at the bottom right, and you're all set. Sharing the love has never been easier!
