Q: What do the blue flag icons by my Inbox messages mean?
The blue flag is used to indicate unactioned messages.
β
They do not clear upon reading since you could have multiple account Admins and may read but not have time to respond.
Q: How do I clear notifications of new messages from the Inbox?
To clear your inbox notifications, you will need to action your messages by either marking them as read, replying, or archiving them.
Q: If I send a message to multiple Groups and someone is a member of all of these Groups, will they get duplicate messages?
No, Text In Church will automatically prevent duplicate messages from sending to your people!
β
For example, if you create a message and set it to send to four Groups, but there is a person who is a member of all four of these Groups, the system will ensure that they only receive a single copy of the message.
Q: We have received some spam texts. Is there a way to block the number?
Within your Text In Church account, you can go to People, search for the phone number sending the spam texts, click the three dots next to the person record, and click the block.
Q: Can I send emojis in text messages?
Yes! π You can include emojis in your text messages.
β
Emojis are encoded differently than regular text characters, so including emojis will impact the total character length of your text message.
