With Text In Church, you can manually create and remove any People records as needed. We'll start by going over how to add a person manually.
How to Add a Person Manually
To add a contact manually, click on the People section.
Click on the “Add Person” or "New Person" buttons
Choose a profile picture (Optional)
Enter the contact name
Enter their phone number and email. Be sure to check the box saying you have permission to contact them!
Fill in any additional information.
Click “Create Person” at the bottom of the page.
One thing to note… Our system does not allow duplicates of an email or mobile phone number; it will prompt you if one occurs.
How to Delete a Person
To delete a person, first, click on the People section on the left-hand side of the page.
Then, you can click on the three dots to the right of the person you are wanting to delete. Then click the delete button.
Then, you will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this contact from your account completely.
If you want to delete multiple people in your account at a time, you can do this by multi-selecting. You can click the checkbox to the left of the names of your contacts to select who it is that you’re wanting to delete.
Then, click the “Action” button at the top and click delete. Deleting someone from the People Section in your account deletes them and your conversation history with them completely out of your Text In Church account.
