With Text In Church, you can manually create and remove any People records as needed. We'll start by going over how to add a person manually.
How to Add a Person Manually
To add a contact manually, click on the People section.
Click on the “Add New" button
Choose a profile picture (Optional)
Enter the contact name
Enter their phone number and email. Be sure to check the box saying you have permission to contact them!
Fill in any additional information.
Click “Create Person” at the bottom of the page.
One thing to note… Our system does not allow duplicates of an email or mobile phone number; it will prompt you if one occurs.
How to Archive a Person
In order to delete a Person, first you must archive them.
No worries though, this is a super quick process and in case you accidentally archive someone you can always restore them!
To archive a Person, you’ll want to click on the People section on the left-hand side of the page.
Then you can click on the check box to the left of the person you are wanting to archive. After that, click the Archive button!
If you want to restore or delete your Archived Person Records, you can access your Archived Records in the Archive.
There is a Filter Icon next to the Magnifying Glass Icon by the Search bar that will allow you to filter Records by ones that are Archived.
Once you’re in the Archives you can decide whether you want to Restore or Permanently Delete a Person Record.
How to Restore a Person
To Restore your Archived Contact, you can click on the Trash Can icon with an arrow inside by the name of that Person in the Archive!
How to Delete a Person
To Delete a Person all you have to do is click on the solid Trash Can icon by their name in the Archive!
Then, you will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this contact from your account completely.
