What is Caller ID?

Caller ID, enables Talk In Church Users to personalize the Caller ID for their Text In Church Phone Numbers. This feature ensures that when users call someone who hasn't saved their Text In Church Number, the recipient still sees a recognizable Caller ID Name, signaling that it's the church reaching out.

Managing Caller ID

  1. Updating Caller ID: Users can update their Caller ID settings anytime through the Account Overview Section of the platform. This flexibility enables adjustments to Caller ID details as needed.


Rules for Caller ID

  • Character Limit: Caller ID Names have a maximum of 15 characters to ensure concise identification.

  • Starting Letter: The Caller ID Name must begin with a letter for compatibility and recognition purposes.

  • Allowed Characters: Caller ID Names can include letters, numbers, periods, commas, and spaces, providing flexibility in naming conventions.

Adhering to these guidelines ensures that Caller ID information is accurately displayed, facilitating easy recognition of calls from the church.
