Welcome to the updated People Record in Church Text! We've introduced a new feature called "Logs" to give you a comprehensive history of a person's profile. This guide will help you navigate and understand the information available in the "Logs" tab.
Accessing the Logs Tab: To access the People Logs, navigate to the individual's profile in the People Section and look for the "Logs" tab. Clicking on this tab will provide you with a detailed history of changes made to the person's profile.
What the Logs Include: The "Logs" tab captures a variety of information related to a person's profile, including:
Profile Creation: Learn how the person was added to the system.
Updates: Track any modifications made to their profile, such as syncs, changes in group membership, or other relevant actions.
Limitations and Time Frame: It's important to note a couple of limitations to the People Logs:
Start Date: The logs will only display data from changes and updates made to the People record going forward from November 22nd, 2023. Any events that occurred before this release won't be visible in the Logs.
Data Retention: The logs will retain information for a period of 3 months. After this period, older data will be automatically removed.
Navigating the Logs: The Logs are presented in chronological order, allowing you to follow the timeline of changes made to the person's profile. Each entry in the log includes a timestamp and a brief description of the action taken.
Using the Logs for Insights: The "Logs" feature is a valuable tool for administrators and staff to understand the history of a person's profile, enabling better management and communication.
