Within the conversation history of an individual, you can view the "Opens" and "Clicks" for a specific email sent to this individual. This is the email status feature and is designed to help you see how many times the person has opened, and therefore, hopefully, read the message.

Tracking open rates accurately has become difficult to do, as each email server quantifies a “read” email differently. 

We offer this feature and do our best to give you the most accurate number, but don’t judge your emails’ value on this alone.
