Text In Church connects with CCB Process Queues to help your team follow up with people automatically.

Instead of manually adding someone to a workflow in CCB, Text In Church can do it for you — the moment someone texts a Keyword, fills out a form, or is added as a new guest.

Glossary

Before diving in, here are two terms worth knowing:

  • Process — A workflow in CCB, like "New Guest Follow-Up." Think of it as the overall checklist.

  • Queue — An individual step inside that process, like "Send Welcome Text" or "Schedule a Call." Text In Church connects to these queue steps.

How Syncing Works

"Syncing" just means keeping your TIC Group and your CCB queue in step with each other. There are two ways to set this up:

Two-Way Sync

This keeps both sides in sync with each other. When someone is added to your TIC Group, they're added to the CCB queue — and vice versa.

When they finish the queue step and are marked "Done" in CCB, they're automatically removed from your TIC Group too.

This means everyone in your TIC Group at any given time is actively working through that queue step — keeping your list accurate without any extra effort.

What Triggers Someone Being Added to a Queue?

You don't have to add people manually. Text In Church can automatically add someone to a CCB Process Queue when they:

  • Text a Keyword

  • Submit a form

  • Are added as a new guest

One Important Rule

A TIC Group can only be connected to one place in CCB — either a Process Queue or a CCB group, but not both.

This keeps things clean and prevents any accidental overlap.

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to your CCB Integration settings in Text In Church.

  2. Select the TIC Group you want to link to a Process Queue.

  3. Use the search bar to find your queue — results show both the Process name and the Queue name, so you can find the right step easily.

  4. Save your settings.

You can also hit the "Sync Now" button at any time to trigger a manual sync if needed.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

No duplicate entries: If someone is already in the CCB queue, Text In Church won't add them a second time.

Your first sync will align both lists: The first time you sync a TIC Group with a CCB queue, the system will compare both lists and bring them into alignment.

If someone is in your TIC Group but not in the CCB queue, they'll be removed from the Group during that initial sync. After that, everything stays in step automatically — so this is only something to be aware of once.

CCB automations still run as normal: When someone is marked "Done" in CCB, whatever follow-up you've configured on the CCB side — moving them to another step, sending an email, adding them to a group — will still happen.

Text In Church doesn't interfere with any of that. The only thing TIC does is remove them from the linked Group, since they've moved on from that step.
