If you've been using PastorsLine to sync with CCB Process Queues, good news — Text In Church works in a very similar way. This guide walks you through how the two compare so you can get up and running quickly and with confidence.

Quick Refresher: CCB Processes and Queues
In CCB, a Process is like a checklist or workflow — for example, "New Guest Follow-Up." Inside each Process are Queues, which are the individual steps people move through — like "Send Welcome Text" or "Schedule a Call."
Both PastorsLine and Text In Church connect to those individual queue steps, not the overall process.
How Syncing Works
Syncing keeps your Text In Church Group and your CCB queue aligned — when someone is added to one, they automatically show up in the other.
Text In Church uses two-way sync: when someone is added to your TIC Group, they're added to the CCB queue, and vice versa. When they finish the queue step and are marked "Done" in CCB, they're automatically removed from your TIC Group too. This is the most popular option in both platforms because it keeps your lists accurate without any extra work.
What Happens When Someone Is Marked "Done" in CCB?
Marking someone as "Done" in CCB triggers whatever follow-up you've set up on the CCB side — like moving them to the next step, sending an email, or adding them to a group. Text In Church doesn't change any of that.
The only thing Text In Church does is remove that person from the TIC Group tied to that queue step, since they've completed it and moved on.
What's New in Text In Church
Text In Church has a few features that make the integration even more powerful than what you had in PastorsLine:
Automatic triggers — Instead of manually adding people to a queue, Text In Church can do it for you. When someone texts a Keyword, fills out a form, or is added as a new guest, they can be automatically added to a CCB Process Queue right away.
Sync Now button — Need to force a sync immediately? Just click Sync Now and it happens on the spot.
No duplicate entries — If someone is already in the CCB queue, Text In Church won't add them a second time.
One group, one destination — Each TIC Group can only be connected to one place in CCB — either a Process Queue or a CCB group, but not both. This prevents any accidental overlap or confusion.
Heads Up: Your First Sync
The very first time you sync a TIC Group with a CCB queue, Text In Church will compare the two lists and bring them into alignment. If someone is in your TIC Group but not in the CCB queue, they'll be removed from the Group during that first sync.
After that first sync, everything stays in step automatically — so this is only something to be aware of once.
