You can now scan a physical connection card and instantly create a contact inside Text In Church!

No more manual data entry. No more juggling stacks of cards after Sunday. Just snap, scan, and done.

1. Open up the Text In Church mobile app!

If you do not have the mobile app just yet, you can download usig the buttons below for both iOS and Android devices.

2. Navigate to the People section in the bottom navigation bar and click the Add Person button on this page:

3. Then choose Scan Paper Connect Card:

4. If this is your first time using this feature, the app will ask for permission to use your camera so you can take a picture of the connect card.

If you do not grant the app permission to use your camera, you will not be able to use this feature.

If you accidentally deny the camera permission, you can update this by going to your device's settings, finding the Text In Church app, and granting the camera permission.

5. After granting permission, you'll be taken to this page, where you'll position the connect card within the frame and hit Capture Card.

6. After taking the photo, the app will extract your contact's data and create a contact in the mobile app.

You'll have a chance to check the contact before it's created to ensure the extracted data is accurate.

7. After verifying the contact's data is accurate, scroll down to the bottom of the contact and hit the Save button to save that contact to your account.
