With Talk In Church, you have two ways to make calls:

  1. Calling Through the Mobile App:

Making calls from the mobile app is a breeze:

  1. Open the Text In Church mobile app.

  2. Select "Make New Call."

  3. Dial the number you want to call.

  4. Choose the number you'd like to call from.

  5. Tap the green call button.

  6. Confirm the call.

Once confirmed, your Talk In Church number will call your cell phone and connect you with the person you want to speak with. This cleverly hides your cell phone number from the person you're calling.

Calls are routed to your cell phone via your Talk In Church number, using your cellular calling network to complete the call. Rest assured, your number remains hidden from the person you're calling.

2. Web Based Calling

  1. log into your Talk In Church account.

  2. In the top right corner of your Talk In Church account, click the dialer button.

  3. Select the phone number you would like to place your call from.

  4. Dial the phone number you would like to call.

  5. Click the green call button to place your call.

Making a Call:

Choose a contact and start the call. Here are your options:

  • If there's no response or the call is declined, you can choose to retry or return to the dialer.

  • During an ongoing call, you can transfer the call (currently available for web browser calls), access the dial pad for interactions with IVR systems, check call duration, and end the call when you're ready.

In-Call Features:

  • Transfer Call: Transfer the call to another contact by clicking "Transfer" and choosing a name or number (currently available for web browser calls).

  • Show Dial Pad: Use this option to interact with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system menus, commonly used by companies.

  • Call Duration: Keep track of the call duration.

  • End Call: When you're ready to end the call, simply click "End Call."

Incoming Call Notifications:

When signed into the Website version of your account and an incoming call comes to your Caller profile, you'll receive a notification within your account. This allows you to answer or decline the call directly from the web interface, saving you the hassle of handling it on your cell phone.

Checking for Missed Calls:

To check for missed calls, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Summary section of your Talk In Church tab.

  2. Locate the Call History section in the top right-hand corner and select "See All."

  3. Inside the Call History section, click on the "Missed" tab to display all missed calls.

Incoming Voicemail Notifications: Ensure that the TIC Mobile app is installed on your device to receive these Voicemail Notifications.

  1. Enable Notifications: Activate push notifications within the app and ensure that your device settings allow for these notifications.

  2. Receive Voicemails: Whenever your church receives a new voicemail, either you as an admin or your team will be notified.

  3. Immediate Alerts: You’ll receive a push notification directly on your mobile device, alerting you to the new voicemail.

Coming with future updates:
