In July 2026, Text In Church introduced a new pricing structure with three plans — Messaging Core, Messaging Plus, and Messaging Suite. If you were a Text In Church member before July 1, 2026, you are on a legacy plan (Basic, Pro, Premium, or Premier) and this article answers the questions you are probably asking.

Will My Plan Change Automatically?
No. If you are on a legacy plan, your account will not be automatically moved to a new plan at this time. Nothing about your account changes unless you choose to make a change or Text In Church notifies you of an upcoming transition with advance notice.
Will My Price Go Up?
Your current pricing stays the same as long as you remain on your legacy plan. If and when Text In Church transitions legacy accounts to the new plans, you will be notified in advance so you can review your options before anything changes.
What Features Will I Have Access To?
You keep all the features included in your current legacy plan. The new plans introduced some features that are only available to new plan subscribers. If you are interested in accessing those features now, you can switch to a new plan at any time — see the section below.

Yes. If you would like to move to Messaging Core, Messaging Plus, or Messaging Suite, reach out to our team and we will walk you through the options and help you find the right fit. Keep in mind that once you switch to a new plan, you will be on the new pricing structure going forward.

What If I Want to Downgrade?
If your current credit tier is more than your church needs, you can request a downgrade to a lower tier within your legacy plan. Contact our support team and we will help you find a tier that better fits your usage.
When Will Legacy Plans Go Away?
We do not have a set date for retiring legacy plans. When that time comes, we will give you plenty of advance notice and clear information about your options — including which new plan most closely matches what you have today.
