With our Ministry Safe Integration, you can now run background checks for your community.

Overview
Ministry Safe allows you to run background checks on volunteers. Ministry Safe also provides robust prevention training!
This is a great way to know what role will best fit a volunteer and ensure they have training so they can feel confident while volunteering.
Set-Up
Setting up the integration is easy! Just follow these steps:
Log in to Text In Church on the desktop and click on your Settings, then choose Integrations:
Hit Connect by the Ministry Safe integration.
You'll see a pop-up menu that asks you to log in to your Ministry Safe account.
Head over to your Ministry Safe account and click on "Admin" in the lower left-hand menu.
Then click on Integrations and click "Visit Developer Center"
Then copy the Webhook from Text In Church to your clipboard.
Copy the webhook into the Webhooks section of Ministry Safe by clicking Add Webhook and selecting that the webhook is for Background Checks.
Next in Ministry Safe, generate an API key and copy and paste this key into the provided field in Text In Church.
Once you click "finish Setup", your Ministry Safe integration will be ready to use!
Next Steps: Using the Ministry Safe Integration
Now that the integration is connected, you can utilize it in your People Section!
You can then go to a Person record you'd like to run a background check for and click "Run Background Check" to begin the background check with Ministry Safe.
