Text In Church allows you to send a Group message with a Message Variable to pull a person's name and other details from their People Record to personalize the message!
Pretty cool, right?
To use our Message Variables, simply use the Variables drop-down box to add it to your message!
To ensure Variables are used correctly, avoid manually typing them and try to always use the Variables menu. This prevents issues like mistyped Variables or missing underscores.
If variables like {FIRST_NAME} are not populating after being typed, check for common issues such as missing underscores or the incorrect bracket type being used.

You can also include the Link to a Connect Card if you’d like to gather more information with your message.
You can add this by going to the Links drop-down box next to the Add Media button!
To make sure that you have this message set up the way you want it, we recommend sending a message to yourself first!
This step also allows you to verify that message Variables, such as names, are populating correctly to ensure accuracy.
