If you signed up for Text In Church before July 1, 2026, your account is on a legacy plan. This article explains how to identify your plan, what the legacy plan names mean, and what to expect going forward.

What Is a Legacy Plan?
A legacy plan is any Text In Church subscription that was active before July 1, 2026. On that date, Text In Church introduced three new plans — Messaging Core, Messaging Plus, and Messaging Suite. Accounts created after July 1, 2026 are on one of these new plans.
If your account was created before July 1, 2026, you are on a legacy plan and your plan name will be one of the following: Basic, Pro, Premium, or Premier.
How to Check Which Plan You Are On
Log in to your Text In Church account.
Click your account name or profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Account Settings from the menu.
Look for the Plan or Subscription section — your current plan name will be listed there.
If you see Basic, Pro, Premium, or Premier, you are on a legacy plan. If you see Messaging Core, Messaging Plus, or Messaging Suite, you are on one of the new plans.
Legacy Plan Names and What They Mean
Here is a quick reference for the legacy plan names and how they generally compare to the new plan structure:
Basic — Entry-level plan for smaller churches. Closest to Messaging Core.
Pro — Mid-tier plan with expanded features. Closest to Messaging Plus.
Premium — Advanced plan with additional tools and higher messaging volume.
Premier — Top-tier plan for larger churches and multi-campus ministries. Closest to Messaging Suite.
Each legacy plan has a specific credit tier — the number of messages included each month — which determines your monthly price.
What Happens to My Legacy Plan?
If you are on a legacy plan, nothing changes right now. Your account will continue to work exactly as it does today.
In the future, Text In Church will provide more information about how and when legacy accounts will transition to the new plan structure. When that time comes, you will be notified in advance with details about your options.
