What Is Maintenance Mode?
We completely understand that life can get busy, and sometimes you need a break!
If you need some time away from your Text In Church account but still want to use it in the future, then we have a great option for you!
Instead of canceling your account and re-creating it when you're ready to come back, you can put your account in Maintenance Mode instead!
Maintenance Mode allows you to retain your account's data, like contacts, Connect Cards, and Automated Workflows, so when you're ready to use your Text In Church account again, you don't have to start from scratch!
While you can't send messages with an account in Maintenance Mode, you can still access all of your contacts, conversations, Connect Cards, Workflows, and most other features of the account.
The only features that are not accessible in Maintenance Mode are sending messages, integrations, Digital Receptionists for Talk In Church, and adding new phone numbers and Users to the account.
Maintenance Mode is $5 a month, if you were on an annual plan, any remaining cost will be added as a pro-rated credit to your account that can be used for the $5 monthly fee for Maintenance Mode.

How Do I Put My Account in Maintenance Mode?
First things first, you'll want to head over to the Subscriptions tab of your account's Settings, then scroll down to your current plan, and there's an option to cancel the account or put it in Maintenance Mode:
You'll be taken to this confirmation page that also has some handy information about Maintenance Mode:
Click Downgrade and your account will be placed in Maintenance Mode!
How to Reactivate My Account
Welcome back! We're glad to see you, and we're excited to help you get started with texting again!
To reactivate your account out of Maintenance Mode, you'll want to head over to the Subscriptions page again.
This time, when you scroll down, you'll see your current plan is Maintenance Mode, and you can reactivate your account by upgrading to the Basic Monthly plan:
If you were on a different plan before going into Maintenance Mode, no worries! We're happy to honor your original plan!
You can send us an email at support@textinchurch.com, or reach out with the chat bubble in the account to let us know you're ready to restart your subscription, and we'll get your subscription set back up for you!
As a note, Automated Workflows and any Digital Receptionists are disabled when you enter Maintenance Mode.
You'll want to be sure to reactivate any Workflows you want to send messages and re-assign your Digital Receptionists to their appropriate numbers upon restarting your subscription.
