The Block feature in Text In Church lets you prevent specific phone numbers from sending texts or completing calls to your account. This is especially useful for dealing with spam numbers.
Once a number is blocked, it will not appear in your inbox and cannot reach your account through any channel. You can also review and unblock numbers at any time from the People tab.

How to Block a Number in Text In Church
Go to the People tab.
Check the box next to the contact(s) you want to block.
Click Action.
Choose Block.
Note: Blocking contacts is not currently available in the mobile app. Vote for this feature here if you would like to see it added.
Reviewing and Managing Blocked Numbers
Go to the People tab.
Click the filter icon.
Select Blocked to view all blocked contacts.
From this view, you can unblock any number if needed.
Effects of Blocking a Number
When a number is blocked in Text In Church:
The blocked contact will not receive any communications from your account.
Calls from the blocked number will not connect.
Texts from the blocked number will not appear in your Inbox or Archive.
