Overview
Calling™ by Text In Church supports voicemail in two ways: you can assign a voicemail box directly to a Caller or Team (so they receive messages when unavailable), or you can add a voicemail action inside your Digital Receptionist menu. This article covers both setups.

Setting Up a Voicemail for a Caller
Follow these steps to create a Caller and enable their voicemail box. If the Caller already exists, skip to step 2 and click View All to edit them.
Go to the Calling tab and click Add New in the Callers section to create a new Caller.
To edit an existing Caller, click View All in the Callers section.
After clicking Add New, select a User from the drop-down menu.
Enter the desired extension for this Caller (100–999).
Set the days and times of availability for this Caller.
Toggle on "Collect voicemail" to enable voicemail collection for this Caller.
Toggle on "Transcribe my voicemails" to automatically transcribe voicemails for this Caller.
Toggle on "Receive notification" to send email alerts to this Caller when a new voicemail arrives.
Select your voicemail greeting voice from the Instant Pro Voice Studio, or choose Record Your Own.
Type your greeting text and click Submit to Voice Studio to preview the generated audio.
Click Save to finish.
Setting Up a Voicemail for a Digital Receptionist Action
You can also capture voicemails from callers who press a specific option in your Digital Receptionist menu.
In the Calling tab, click View All next to the Digital Receptionist section. Then click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to your Receptionist and choose Edit.
Click Add Action to add a new action, or click an existing numbered icon to edit it. Type your voicemail greeting into the action text box.
Click Submit to Voice Studio to generate the greeting audio.
Check "Capture voicemail" to enable the voicemail box for this action.
Select a User from the drop-down to receive voicemail notification emails for this action.
Mobile App Voicemail Notifications
You can also receive voicemail alerts on your phone through the Text In Church mobile app.
Install the app and enable push notifications in both the app and your device settings.
Receive voicemails — when a new voicemail arrives, you or your team will be notified immediately.
Instant alerts — a push notification appears directly on your device.
One-tap access — tap the notification to open Text In Church and listen to the message.
