Text In Church connects with CCB (Church Community Builder) Process Queues to automate your guest and member follow-up. Instead of manually adding people to a queue, Text In Church does it for you the moment someone texts a Keyword, fills out a form, or is added as a new guest — and keeps both systems in sync automatically.

Glossary: Processes and Queues
Before getting started, here are two key terms:
Process — A workflow in CCB, like "New Guest Follow-Up." Think of it as the overall checklist.
Queue — An individual step inside that process, like "Send Welcome Text" or "Schedule a Call." Text In Church connects to these individual queue steps.
How Syncing Works
Syncing keeps your Text In Church Group and your CCB queue aligned. Text In Church uses two-way sync, which means:
When someone is added to your TIC Group, they're added to the CCB queue — and vice versa.
When they finish the queue step and are marked "Done" in CCB, they're automatically removed from your TIC Group.
This means everyone in your TIC Group at any given time is actively working through that queue step — keeping your list accurate without any extra manual effort.
What Triggers Someone Being Added to a Queue?
You don't have to add people manually. Text In Church can automatically add someone to a CCB Process Queue when they:
Text a Keyword
Submit a form
Are added as a new guest
How to Set Up the Integration
Go to your CCB Integration settings in Text In Church.
Select the TIC Group you want to link to a Process Queue.
Use the search bar to find your queue — results show both the Process name and the Queue name so you can find the right step easily.
Save your settings.
You can also click the Sync Now button at any time to trigger a manual sync if needed.
Note: A TIC Group can only be connected to one place in CCB — either a Process Queue or a CCB group, but not both. This keeps things clean and prevents accidental overlap.
Important Notes
No duplicate entries. If someone is already in the CCB queue, Text In Church won't add them a second time.
Your first sync will align both lists. The first time you sync a TIC Group with a CCB queue, the system compares both lists and brings them into alignment. If someone is in your TIC Group but not in the CCB queue, they'll be removed from the Group during that initial sync. After that first sync, everything stays in step automatically — this is only something to be aware of once.
CCB automations still run as normal. When someone is marked "Done" in CCB, any follow-up you've configured on the CCB side — moving them to another step, sending an email, adding them to a group — will still happen. Text In Church doesn't interfere with any of that. The only thing TIC does is remove them from the linked Group, since they've moved on from that step.
