The Block feature allows users to manage a list of blocked phone numbers, preventing incoming calls and texts from these numbers. This feature is designed to help users combat spam or unwanted communications.
How to Block a Number:
From People
Navigate to the People tab.
Select the checkbox next to the People record(s) you want to block.
Click "Action."
Choose "Block."
Or click on the three dots to the far right of your contact in the People tab and choose Block from the list of available options.
Reviewing and Managing Blocked Numbers
Navigate to the People Section.
Click on the filter.
Select "Blocked" to view the list of blocked numbers.
Users can unblock numbers from this section if desired.
Effects of Blocking a Number
The blocked record will not receive any communications from the Text In Church account.
Calls from the blocked number will not be completed.
Texts from the blocked number will not be shown in the inbox or archive.
