Transferring Calls with Calling™ by Text In Church

Calling™ by Text In Church offers a convenient call transfer feature through the browser, mobile app, and desktop devices.

This feature allows you to seamlessly pass a call from one participant to another, enhancing communication within your community.


How To Transfer A Call on a Browser:

1. Initiate or Answer a Call:

  • Log in to Text In Church on a browser.

  • Begin or accept a call using the Dialer.

2. Click "Transfer":

  • Locate the "Transfer" option and click on it.

3. Select a Contact:

  • A window will appear, prompting you to choose a contact from your list.

4. Confirm Transfer:

  • After selecting the contact, confirm the transfer. The call will now be seamlessly handed over.


How to Transfer Calls on the Mobile App:

1. Initiate or Answer a Call:

  • Log in to the Text In Church mobile app.

  • Begin or accept a call

2. Click "Transfer":

  • Locate the "Transfer" option and click on it.

3. Select a Contact:

  • A window will appear, prompting you to choose a contact to transfer to:


Transferring Calls on a Desktop Phone:

Before you can receive calls to your desktop phone, it must be connected to your account using credentials from the Desktop Phones section of your account's Settings:

After setting your desktop phone up, you can transfer calls received on that device by using the built-in transfer button on the device.
